Receiving acknowledgment and support from students and peers represents the highest commendation within the educational profession. The Illinois Director of Student Activities (IDSA) is actively seeking exceptional, dynamic, and innovative leaders to be honored at the Annual Awards Banquet. We kindly request your assistance in disseminating information regarding the awards program, enabling colleagues, community members, administrators, parents, and students to recognize those distinguished individuals within your high school who encapsulate the values of these Awards.
Nominees should be individuals of exceptional skill and dedication who take an active role in fostering the culture and climate of their school community. The Awards Program serves as a collaborative initiative intended to honor outstanding contributors in the domain of Student Activities while simultaneously promoting awareness of the quality of Student Activities clubs, programs, and events available in high schools throughout Illinois. We encourage you to take the time to complete an application accompanied by a recommendation letter that highlights the nominee’s achievements.
The narrative of the nominee, as well as their photograph, will be included in the Awards Banquet Convention Book to be distributed during the Annual IDSA Awards Banquet. This Awards Program is specifically designed to honor outstanding individuals in the Student Activities domain and to enhance awareness of the premier Student Activities clubs, programs, and events provided by Illinois high schools statewide. Nominees should exemplify skill and commitment while significantly contributing to the culture and climate of their school community through their involvement in and support of Student Activities.
NOMINATIONS CLOSE ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 23, 2026.
